Operating Principle of TRIVAC Two-Stage Pumps:

TRIVAC pumps work according to the two-stage rotary vane principle: Gas passes through two pumping stages sequentially in a common housing. The first stage (high vacuum stage) draws in the gas and compresses it to an intermediate pressure. The second stage (backing stage) takes the pre-compressed gas and discharges it against atmospheric pressure. This two-stage arrangement enables significantly deeper ultimate vacuum than single-stage pumps.

Technical Advantages of TRIVAC Vacuum Pumps:

  • Highest Ultimate Vacuum - down to 2 x 10⁻⁴ mbar (0.0002 mbar)
  • Two-Stage Principle - optimal compression across entire pressure range
  • High Pumping Speed - even in high vacuum range
  • Proven Technology - in use worldwide for decades
  • Robust Construction - designed for continuous operation
  • Compact Design - both stages in one housing
  • Maintenance-Friendly - easy access to wear parts
  • Gas Ballast Function - for condensable vapors
